Chrissy René Studios Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 18, 2026
Last Updated: October 5, 2026
Chrissy René Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit chrissyrenestudios.com, boudoirphotographyaustin.com, or our forms and booking pages that link to this policy; contact us; schedule or purchase an experience; participate in a photography session; or otherwise interact with our business.
Information you provide
We may collect the following information that you or your authorized representative provide:
Name, email address, telephone number, and mailing or delivery address.
Inquiry and questionnaire responses; appointment and session details; photography preferences; and information you choose to share while planning your experience.
Contract, invoice, order, payment-status, and transaction information.
Communications, including emails, text messages, and attachments you send us.
Photographs, videos, and other materials created during your session.
Marketing preferences, model releases, and consent or opt-out records, including when and how you gave or withdrew permission.
Age-verification or guardian information when needed, and allergies, physical limitations, or other information you choose to provide for session safety.
Payment information is generally collected and processed by our payment or scheduling providers. We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. We may receive transaction confirmations, billing details, and limited card information such as the last four digits.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website and connected services, we and our providers may collect your Internet Protocol address; browser, device, and operating-system information; pages viewed and links clicked; referring website; approximate location derived from your IP address; dates and times of visits; cookie and advertising identifiers; and interactions with our website and advertisements. Messaging providers may also record delivery status and interactions with messages.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from scheduling platforms, payment processors, social-media platforms, advertising services, website forms, customer-management systems, and other services you use to communicate or transact with us.
How we use and disclose information
How we use information
Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
Schedule, plan, and provide photography experiences, including relevant safety accommodations.
Prepare contracts, questionnaires, invoices, and orders; process payments; and deliver photographs, products, or services.
Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates through channels you have authorized where consent is required.
Personalize and improve our website and client experience, and measure website activity, advertising performance, and completed bookings.
Send marketing communications with the required permission, and record and honor communication preferences.
Maintain business, financial, and transaction records; detect fraud; protect our systems; and enforce our agreements.
Comply with legal, tax, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
Photographs and session content
We recognize that photographs, particularly intimate portrait and boudoir images, require special care. Booking a session or accepting our Terms and Conditions does not authorize public use of your photographs. We will not publicly display, publish, advertise with, or post identifiable session images without a separate signed model release or image-use agreement authorizing that use.
We may provide session files to selected providers when reasonably necessary for editing, gallery hosting, printing, album production, storage, or delivery. We limit access to the information reasonably needed to perform those services. Any outside retouching of intimate images will be discussed with you first. A private gallery is intended for you and anyone you authorize; protect its link, password, and download credentials.
When we disclose information
We may disclose information to providers supporting our website, scheduling, payments, customer management, email, messaging, analytics, advertising, automation, editing, galleries, printing, storage, and delivery; professional advisers such as accountants, attorneys, or insurers; and others at your direction or with your permission. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, or business-asset transfer, subject to applicable law and the mobile-information restrictions below.
Providers may include Squarespace; Acuity Scheduling or Squarespace Scheduling; GoHighLevel and its LeadConnector services; Stripe or other payment processors used at checkout; Dubsado; ActiveCampaign; Zapier; Google Analytics; Google Ads; Meta or Facebook advertising tools; and photography fulfillment providers. The providers involved depend on the service you use.
We do not sell personal information for money. Disclosures of cookie or advertising identifiers may qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some state laws. Applicable opt-out choices are described below. This advertising disclosure does not authorize sharing mobile numbers or text-message consent for third-party marketing.
Mobile messaging and marketing choices
SMS and MMS communications
With your separate consent, Chrissy René Studios may send SMS and MMS through GoHighLevel and connected messaging providers. Messages may be automated or personally written. Service texts may address inquiries, appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, reveals, payment reminders, and orders. Marketing texts may include offers, last-minute session openings, giveaways, new sets, and promotional follow-ups about unfinished bookings.
Marketing and service text permissions are collected separately. Both are optional. Providing your phone number, submitting a form, booking, or accepting our Terms and Conditions does not by itself enroll you in promotional texts. Consent to marketing texts is not required to purchase. We send each category according to your permission.
Message frequency varies. Your wireless plan may charge for messages and data. Carriers are not responsible for messages that are delayed or fail to arrive.
Mobile information and consent records
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. Text-message opt-in records and consent are not sold or transferred to other businesses for their own use, and are excluded from our general advertising disclosures.
Messaging and customer-support providers may process mobile information and consent records only as needed to operate and support our communications on our behalf. This includes delivery, routing, documenting permission, and honoring opt-outs. We may disclose records when legally required. These limited uses do not permit providers to use your information for their own marketing.
Stopping texts and getting help
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from studio texts. We may send one confirmation, then stop further texts from the studio number, including automated appointment reminders. We also honor other clear requests to stop texting. To receive texts again, provide a new affirmative opt-in through our signup process.
Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us through the contact page at chrissyrenestudios.com. You may also use the studio contact information in your booking confirmation. If you decline or stop texts, we may communicate about your existing booking or order by email or another agreed channel. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment or purchase.
For more information about the messaging program, see the Text messaging program section of our Terms and Conditions, available through our website.
Email marketing
Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop promotional emails. You may still receive nonmarketing emails about appointments, transactions, contracts, or services you requested. Email and SMS preferences are managed separately; opting out of one does not automatically opt you out of the other. Contact us if you want to stop marketing across both channels.
Cookies and privacy choices
Cookies and advertising technologies
Our website and connected services may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand activity, measure bookings, and evaluate or deliver advertising. Analytics and advertising providers may combine device and interaction information with information from other websites or services, subject to their privacy policies and applicable choices.
Where our website offers cookie controls, you can use them to manage nonessential technologies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser and manage advertising preferences through the relevant advertising platform. Blocking cookies may affect website features. Preferences may need to be set separately for different browsers and devices.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, payment-card details, or private session images to Google Analytics. This statement concerns Google Analytics and does not mean that our booking, payment, or messaging providers do not process the information needed to provide those services.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, whether a privacy law applies to our business, and applicable exceptions, you may have rights to:
Confirm whether we process your information and obtain access or a portable copy.
Correct inaccurate information or request deletion.
Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, or certain profiling used for decisions with significant effects.
Withdraw permission where processing is based on consent.
Appeal a decision about a privacy request.
To submit a request, use the contact page at chrissyrenestudios.com and include “Privacy Request” in your message. For advertising opt-outs, describe the choice you want to exercise. You do not need to subscribe to texts or marketing to submit a request. Where applicable law requires recognition of an eligible browser-based opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we treat that signal as an opt-out for the purposes required by that law.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity or authority when verification is appropriate. Some requests, including advertising opt-outs, may not require identity verification. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable denial or extension. Exceptions may allow us to keep records needed for legal compliance, transactions, security, or disputes.
If we deny a request, you may submit a “Privacy Appeal” through the same contact page. We will explain our appeal decision and, where required, how to contact the relevant regulator. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted; we may request proof of authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Processing locations
Our business operates in Texas. Our service providers may process or store information elsewhere in the United States or in other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. We apply any safeguards required by applicable law to relevant transfers.
Retention security and contact
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services; fulfill commitments; maintain client, transaction, consent, and opt-out records; meet tax, accounting, insurance, and legal requirements; resolve disputes; and protect our rights. Retention varies with the type of information and purpose. We may retain limited suppression records to ensure that people who unsubscribe are not re-enrolled without permission.
Photographs and session materials are handled according to our client agreement, delivery practices, backup procedures, and business needs. We do not guarantee image archival after delivery. Please download purchased digital files promptly and maintain secure backups. Deletion requests are subject to applicable exceptions, including records or files we must retain to fulfill an existing order or a legal obligation.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, storage system, or electronic transmission is completely secure. Limit sensitive details in ordinary emails, texts, or website forms, and contact us to arrange an appropriate way to share information when needed. Tell us if you believe a gallery or client account has been accessed without permission.
Adult boudoir services and minor clients
All boudoir and intimate portrait services are limited to individuals age 18 or older. We may request age verification. For non-boudoir services involving children or teenagers, a parent or legal guardian must arrange the booking, sign applicable agreements, and provide permission, or authorize a representative to arrange these steps.
Our website and booking services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. A parent or guardian may provide a minor’s name, age, photographs, and session details when necessary to plan, photograph, edit, deliver, or fulfill a non-boudoir portrait session.
A minor’s images will not be used publicly for advertising, social media, a portfolio, or other promotion without separate signed permission from their parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has submitted information directly through our website without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
Third party websites and services
Links may lead to services operated by others. We do not control their independent privacy, security, or data practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information directly to them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new Last Updated date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. Updating this policy does not itself enroll you in marketing texts or authorize public use of your images.
