Hi, I’m Chrissy

As a singer-songwriter, I’ve spent years around an industry where appearance is constantly under a microscope. I quickly learned how easy it is to let other people’s opinions shape the way you see yourself. Managers and record labels made me believe I need to be thinner, prettier, younger and somehow “more” before I’d be worthy of success. The funny thing? After every promo photoshoot I’d see a photo of myself and think “Wait…that’s me?”

I knew photography was what I wanted to do the moment I started photographing my friends. Watching them light up when they saw their photos and hearing them say “My booty looks amazing!” was everything. I loved knowing I could give them that same “Wait…that’s me?” moment. That’s still my favorite part.

Life moves fast. We change. Our bodies change. Our stories change. Years from now, I hope you look back at these photos, smile, and think, “This was one of the best things I ever did for myself.” and realize you were far more beautiful than you ever gave yourself credit for.

Because moments like these matter so much, I’ve spent years investing in my education and craft. I’ve been fortunate enough to become an award winning and published photographer, studied photography at Santa Monica College, and graduated from Stripped Down - The Art of Emotion.
